CALL FOR CREATIVE SUBMISSIONS - Submission extended to 5pm 8 Nov 2021!

We are excited to share that Blak UNSWeetened, the UNSW Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander literary anthology, is back for 2021! 

The Blak UNSWeetened editorial team, lead by deadly UNSW Indigenous students and alumni, are inviting creative submissions from the UNSW Indigenous community for Blak UNSWeetened 2021 anthology, to be published in December 2021.

2021 Themes:

  • Dirty Roots (Our Environment)
  • Pulse of our Students (Your COVID Stories)
  • Australia’s Blackspot (Racial Discrimination)

 

Creative Submissions

Submissions extended to 5pm 8 Nov 2021!

In the form of:

  • Memoir
  • Short story
  • Creative non-fiction
  • Poetry
  • Reportage
  • Graphic (interplay of text and illustration)
  • Performance text /script for stage and screen.

Such as:

  • Pictorial
  • Photography
  • Painting
  • Design
  • Comics
